Female (holotype): length, 2.3mm. General body color dark brown to black dorsally, being paler toward head, scape and pedicel, axilla, metanotum, apex of tibiae and tarsi, propodeum and base of first tergite of gaster; entire body lighter ventrally, femora and metasoma slightly darker than the rest; setae on dorsum of mesosoma translucent (Figs 2, 6). Wings largely hyaline, but fore wing with two brown areas, the first and smaller behind base of parastigma, with about 40 strong dark brown setae, the distal area is most extensive, begins behind marginal vein and occupies most of wing apex, alar disc between the two brown areas with light setae (Fig. 8).

Hexacladia dichelopsis sp. n. differs from H. linci (morphologically the closest species) in: general body color dark brown to black, including head; funicle including clava and scape dark brown (versus general body color brown, pleura yellowish to brown, yellowish face and funicle, the first two flagellomeres and scape dorsally darker, apex of clava black); antenna of the female with F1 as long as following three segments, with slightly curved setae (versus F1 almost as long as following four segments, with straight setae), antenna of the male with branch of F6 0.5 length of F6 (branch of F6 as long as F6 or longer than the flagellomere); fore wing with continuous marginal fringe (versus absent or discontinuous marginal fringe), basal third of wings with setae present (versus basal third of wings without setae). Following the description of Rasplus et al. (1990) the shape of distal margin of hypopygium is similar in both species.What about shape of distal margin of hypopygium.


For each color channel, multiplies source color channel valuewith underlying color channel value and divides by maximum valuefor 8-bpc, 16-bpc, or 32-bpc pixels, depending on the color depthof the project. The result color is never brighter than the original.If either input color is black, the result color is black. If eitherinput color is white, the result color is the other input color.This blend mode simulates drawing with multiple marking pens onpaper or placing multiple gels in front of a light. When blendingwith a color other than black or white, each layer or paint strokewith this blend mode results in a darker color.


Multiplies the complements of the channel values, and thentakes the complement of the result. The result color is never darkerthan either input color. Using the Screen mode is similar to projectingmultiple photographic slides simultaneously onto a single screen.


Darkens or lightens the color channel values of the underlyinglayer, depending on the source color. The result is similar to shininga diffused spotlight on the underlying layer. For each color channelvalue, if the source color is lighter than 50% gray, the resultcolor is lighter than the underlying color, as if dodged. If thesource color is darker than 50% gray, the result color is darkerthan the underlying color, as if burned. A layer with pure blackor white becomes markedly darker or lighter, but does not becomepure black or white.


Multiplies or screens the input color channel value, dependingon the original source color. The result is similar to shining aharsh spotlight on the layer. For each color channel value, if theunderlying color is lighter than 50% gray, the layer lightens asif it were screened. If the underlying color is darker than 50%gray, the layer darkens as if it were multiplied. This mode is usefulfor creating the appearance of shadows on a layer.


Burns or dodges the colors by increasing or decreasing thecontrast, depending on the underlying color. If the underlying coloris lighter than 50% gray, the layer is lightened because the contrastis decreased. If the underlying color is darker than 50% gray, thelayer is darkened because the contrast is increased.

If the underlying color is lighter than50% gray, the layer is lightened because the brightness is increased.If the underlying color is darker than 50% gray, the layer is darkenedbecause the brightness is decreased.


Replaces the colors, depending on the underlying color. Ifthe underlying color is lighter than 50% gray, pixels darker thanthe underlying color are replaced, and pixels lighter than the underlyingcolor do not change. If the underlying color is darker than 50%gray, pixels lighter than the underlying color are replaced, andpixels darker than the underlying color do not change.


Creates a result similar to but lower in contrast than theDifference mode. If the source color is white, the result coloris the complement of the underlying color. If the source color isblack, the result color is the underlying color.
