I am trying to install TestNG. The sites beust and lnkd.in/eQ9Z4Fx are not found and returns a 404. Tried downloading from TestNG page on Eclipse Market Place, but when tried to run the testNG program its showing error as its not compatible with eclipse 2020-12 version. Any other ideas from where to download testNG version which will work on eclipse 2020-12 #TestNG?

Hi, I tried installing TestnG from eclipse market place for Version: 2020-06 (4.16.0). But it shows TestNG version is not comaptible with this version of Eclipse.Even i tried using locations mentioned in previous posts. But shows same error couldn't find the file on these locations. Can anyone tell me which version of eclipse i should download or is there any workaround for this version?

for the link.... someone replied to my post and it worked for me "dl.bintray.com/testng-team/testng-eclipse-release/". Copy/Paste that in address bar without double quotes. Then click on "zipped", then click on latest version and click on next link in the next page.

Our team found that TestNG plugin is not available to be installed in eclipse. Team tried from both the options available in Help like Market place and New Software installation through "beust.com/eclipose". Even beust site is not responding on either private or Public network.

Enhanced Class Decompiler integrates JD, FernFlower, Quiltflower, CFR, Procyon seamlessly with Eclipse and allows Java developers to debug class files without source code directly. It also integrates with the eclipse class editor, m2e plugin, supports Javadoc, reference search, library source attaching, byte code view and the syntax of JDK8 lambda expression.

It is based on the popular (delisted) "Eclipse Class Decompiler" Plugin, but members of the open-source community enhanced it by removing all code which might compromise your privacy or security (i.e. everything discussed in -engineering-an-eclipse-p... and everything else which seemed suspicious) to bring back the great core plugin functionality to all Eclipse users.

I just read through the interesting blog about how this plugin came into picture and I am excited to use this plugin on my eclipse. But somehow it doesn't decompile. It was installed without a problem but it doesn't show up under Java in Preferences(as in Screenshot).

Did you check if you need a proxy configured in Eclipse? If the problem persist, navigate manually to -plugin.github.io/update/ download the jar files and place them in the features and plugins folde rof your eclipse installation.

Eclipse (@ www.eclipse.org) is a free and open-source Java Integrated Development Environment (IDE), originated from IBM inspired by VisualAge (in 2001), and now maintained by Eclipse Foundation. Eclipse is a desktop app written mostly in Java. However, it uses its own Java graphics library known as SWT (Standard Widget Toolkit), instead of Java's Swing/AWT.

The following program create and write to a text file "out.txt" (via java.util.Formatter), and read it back (via java.util.Scanner). I do the write first so that you can check the location of the exteranl files under eclipse, which is at the project base directory, at the same level as the "src" and "bin".

I've tried the latest version of Eclipse Java EE (2019/06) and Eclipse version Oxygen, trying to install the appropriate JBoss Tools plugin in the marketplace.. but still results in the same error. I've tried downloading the zip of the JBoss Tools and using "Install New Software", but this also did not work.

Is this combination of Eclipse version 2019-06 and RTC 6061 supported? I see several issues, one of which is the compare editor not working as indicated below. I see a similar error reported here at -compare-broke-in-eclipse-simrel-2019-06-after-updating

Go to the download page of Engineering Lifecycle Manager/RTC, select the version you want to know about, click on the Getting Started tab, scroll down and click on the system requirements. Click All Platforms. Open Prerequisites. Check the supported versions.

I'm also having this problem. Where can I check the prerequisites? I went to RTC 6.0.6.1 download page at -team-concert/releases/6.0.6.1. I tried various tabs, but found no information or links related to Prerequisites. The real question here is how do we get the RTC 6.0.6.1 client to work with a more recent Eclipse version? The RTC client is bundled with Eclipse 4.4 and 4.6. The problem is that Eclipse 4.4 and 4.6 are both quite old, Eclipse 4.4 was released on 25 June 2014 and Eclipse 4.6 on 22 June 2016. I used the Client for Eclipse 4.x IDE (Extension Install) to install the RTC client on Eclipse Version 2019-06 (4.12.0). Since the Eclipse version is 4.12, I would expect Client for Eclipse 4.x IDE (Extension Install) to work, but I'm encountering the internal error from the compare editor mentioned the original question.

BASIS plug-ins are supported in the Eclipse IDE, but many versions of the plug-ins work only with specific versions of Eclipse. To install and run the BASIS Eclipse Plug-ins, you must first download and install the appropriate Eclipse. You may have multiple Eclipse installations on one development computer as long as they are installed to separate folders.

For Red Hat based Linux Distributions: Red Hat builds its own JDK with some modifications. One modification is that it contains a drastically reduced set of Elliptic Curves (3 instead of the 60+ that OpenJDK contains).Unfortunately the one that Scout uses by default is not part of the Red Hat selection. For more details see 1, 2, 3 and 4.Therefore Red Hat JDK builds are not supported out of the box. However Scout can be configured to work with such JDKs by using a curve that is available in a Red Hat JDK.This can be done by replacing the bean org.eclipse.scout.rt.platform.security.SunSecurityProvider and overwriting the method getEllipticCurveName(). You can choose a curve that is available on your Red Hat installation. Please note that you need to generate a new key pair for your modified curve using org.eclipse.scout.rt.platform.security.SecurityUtility.main(String[]) and insert the keys in your config.properties files.Alternatively it is also possible to download an unmodified JDK from the official download page.

The new interface org.eclipse.scout.rt.mom.jms.IJmsMessageHandler adds suport for incoming and outgoing JMS message handling. The default implementation org.eclipse.scout.rt.mom.jms.LogJmsMessageHandler logs all messages on level DEBUG.

Red Hat CodeReady Studio (previously known as Red Hat Developer Studio) comes with everything pre-bundled in its installer. Simply download it from our Red Hat CodeReady Studio product page and run it like this:

Our main focus for this release was improvements for container-based development and bug fixing. Eclipse 2019-06 itself has a lot of new cool stuff, but I'll highlight just a few updates in both Eclipse 2019-06 and JBoss Tools plugins that I think are worth mentioning.

You can import a project into Eclipse by passing its path as a parameter to the launcher. The command would look like eclipse /path/to/project on Linux and Windows, or open Eclipse.app -a /path/to/project on macOS.

previously i was using sonarlinteclipse version 4. But now i downloaded the complete sonarlinteclipse new version 5.6 and tried to import this maven project in eclipse 2019-06.but after importing am getting errors in all the modules.

yeah am trying to open the source code of sonarlint eclipse version 5.6 in my eclipse.Am facing the errors in eclipse. let me try to install tycho project configurator.thanks for ur quick response. Please help me to close this if this does not work.

I tried to install tycho configurator using the url Index of /repositories/forge-sites/m2eclipse-tycho/0.5.0/N/0.5.0.201106171607but its sayingUnable to read repository at -sites/m2eclipse-tycho/0.5.0/N/0.5.0.201106171607/content.xml.Unable to read repository at -sites/m2eclipse-tycho/0.5.0/N/0.5.0.201106171607/content.xml.

thanks for ur response Julien. i will connect to eclipse or m2 guys. I have one more query. Does sonarlint eclipse has exposed APIS. cause this framework am using in my project and my project has dependency with this framework. everytime a new version of sonarlint eclipse am gonna integrate this is causing issue. please let me know whether this has web service api or not.

ok henry this api thing is different thing. Now i used the latest eclipse and installed tycho configurator and all the pom errors gone. thanks a lot for the resolution. but the problem now is am getting errors at src level and manifest file. i have disable the maven nature and did mvn eclipse:eclipse. but still the errors are not gone. can u please let me know how can those src level and manifest file errors be resolved. waiting for ur response.
